Lost Worlds” (Mundos Perdidos) is a series of paper collage artworks that explores the theme of inner space and introspection.
My deck was inspired by the one painted by Pamela Colman Smith for the Rider-Waite-Smith tarot deck.
The following images are a collection of collages created during 2017, using a variety of paper materials and resources (magazines, books, journals).
Using objects, words or animals this series presents characters facing their word either being the real world full of failures, a carefree mentality or awaking to a new reality.
The images were taken in the heart of nature, from the lush forests to marshes. Each shot is carefully composed to convey a sense of awe and reverence for the natural world.
